Photography Contest

 

Enter up to 3 photos in each of 3 categories:

The Natural World—Animals, pets, and plants.

Travel—Locales, peoples or activities in the United States and abroad that convey a sense of place.

Altered Images—Photographs manipulated for artistic purposes by applying digital and/or traditional special effects (i.e. colorizing, toning, collage, photo composites, HDR, etc.).

The winning entry from each category will receive a $50 American Express gift card.

Entry deadline is February 15, 2012.

Photo Contest Rules

Term:

Photo contest begins December 15, 2011 and ends February 15, 2012. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest. Photographs will only be used as an in-office computer screensaver.

Who may enter:

Photographers must be active patients of our practice.

How to enter:

Please submit photographs on-line at photocontest@bankshoward.com or bring/mail photos on cd to the dental office. High-quality scans of non-digital photographs are acceptable. Digital photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible. Photographs must be in a .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format. Files submitted may not be larger than 2,048k (2Mb). By entering the contest, entrants grant permission to the office of Banks-Howard to use the photos only as an in-office computer screensaver. Please submit photos with a brief description of location/relevant info about subject.

Entry deadline:

All entries must be received by February 15, 2012.

Judging:

Judging will be conducted by a panel of non-office employees. Winning photographs will be published in the Spring 2012 Banks-Howard e-newsletter. Decisions of the judges will be final.
